Technical Capabilities

Detection resolution of ~600 microns in reflection compared to 800 microns1 for MRI (depends on field strength, homogeneity, etc.)
Contrast to noise ratio of 23:1 at 100 microns (in reflection; can detect small calcifications)
Contrast to noise ratio of 15:1 (at resolution in transmission– speed of sound)
Speckle-free because of 3600 compounding and refraction correction for reflection image
Volumetric data acquisition (3D), not stacked 2D slices
