Single Subject, Suspicious Mass, Multiple Modalities

Let's Be Clear.

Without radiation, compression or injected contrast, QT Scanners utilize AI to differentiate between the various types of breast tissue and can efficiently identify an abnormality. A Short Interval Study can be implemented to measure the size of a mass and check for rapid growth to help determine the next course of action.

QT Scan

QT Scan of single subject with a suspicious mass as a part of a study of comparative modalities.

Can a QT Scan "See" Calcifications?

QTI’s Enhanced Clinical Capabilities and Value

  • High-quality and high-resolution native 3D Imaging
  • Quantifiable images enable accurate analysis, comparison and trending
  • Image quality is consistent and reproducible regardless of operator, breast size, or breast tissue type
  • Detection of 50–100-micron clinical features, including microcalcifications
  • Functional imaging capability determines tissue type from the speed of sound measurements
  • Assessment of tissue doubling time is similar to MRI and CT
  • Highly accurate measurements are not scanner operator dependent

Technical Capabilities

  • Detection resolution of ~600 microns in reflection compared to 800 microns1 for MRI (depends on field strength, homogeneity, etc.)
  • Contrast to noise ratio of 23:1 at 100 microns (in reflection; can detect small calcifications)
  • Contrast to noise ratio of 15:1 (at resolution in transmission– speed of sound)
  • Speckle-free because of 3600 compounding and refraction correction for reflection image
  • Volumetric data acquisition (3D), not stacked 2D slices

Why It Matters

FACT: Roughly 50% of women have DENSE BREASTS

FACT: Mammograms miss ~50% of cancers in DENSE BREASTS

FACT: Breast Cancer in women ages 15-39 has increased 17.2% since 2000.

FACT: The most common form of cancer for younger women is the most aggressive, TNBC- Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

FACT: The American Cancer Society has NOT recommended mammograms for women of average risk under 40.

FACT: QT is the ONLY MODALITY APPROVED BY THE FDA FOR WOMEN 18 and UP.

EARLY DETECTION CAN SAVE LIVES

BUT FIRST... DO NO HARM.

"Don't call us... We'll call you."

Only 2% of women receive an accurate cancer diagnosis from mammography.

For every 150 women who get a mammogram, the callback rate is ~15%

For every 150 women who get a mammogram, the callback rate is ~15%

~10% of those 150 will receive painful biopsies. 80% of these biopsies are benign.

98% of mammography callbacks are avoidable. We can do better.

I've seen enough. I'm ready to book!

Let's Do this.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
